As simple as connecting a smartphone to a charger: car, bike or bicycle, every electric vehicle needs its electric, public or household, charging station to refill energy. Despite the growing number of charging points in Italy especially in Europe and particularly in the Netherlands, the limited amount of supply systems is one of the discouraging reasons why the Italian consumers do not proceed so quickly with the purchase of an electric vehicle. Esergetica in this sense has already set itself on the front line, planning to install its first 4 charging points between the provinces of Venice and Padua by the end of the summer!

But let’s understand more what it is about:

WHAT IS IT

Charging stations are devices needed for the charging of electric vehicles. These proposals by Esergetica have a slim, very resistant, avant-garde but discreet design. Their distribution uses a 50% tax deduction in Italy for the year 2017, a benefit that multiplies, if applied to a home, or company, with an installed photovoltaic system. There are two types of stations that can be purchased in the market: for domestic and outdoor use.

DOMESTIC USE

The domestic charging version can recharge a car in about 3 hours: the timing depends on the size of the car battery, its charging power and the power of the station chosen. With this system you can charge your car via a Type 1 or Type 2 connector, with a 6 meter long cable, just as if you were charging a mobile phone.

PUBLIC USE

The second charging point offers the possibility to recharge two cars at the same time, just as if you were to simply refuel at a service station. The Esergetica station is made of high strength stainless steel, designed to withstand the external environment and possible acts of vandalism. The payment service supports credit card and registration via App, which is becoming wider spread among drivers.

COSTS

As the cost a photovoltaic system, the price for the charging stations and the charge are becoming increasingly more cost effective. To get rid of any hesitation, the 2017 tax deduction of 50% comes with a saving, that is added to the photovoltaic system by reducing the cost of energy supply to zero.
